Non-medical home care also called Personal Assistance Services (PAS) in Texas covers help with daily living activities like bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, companionship, and light housekeeping. It does not include skilled nursing, injections, wound care, or other medical services.

No. Non-medical home care does not require a physician's order or referral. You can call us directly and we can start the conversation right away.

We work to get care in place as quickly as possible. For families coming home from a hospital or rehab facility, timing matters and we take that seriously. Call us to discuss your timeline.

Yes. All Hearthwell caregivers pass a background check required by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC). We take the safety of your loved one seriously.

Yes. We can arrange overnight care, 24-hour care, and live-in arrangements depending on your loved one's needs and our caregiver availability. Call to discuss what would work best.

Home care costs vary based on the type of care, hours needed, and schedule. We are transparent about pricing and will give you a clear picture on your first call no surprises.

We are a private-pay agency. We do not currently accept Medicaid or Medicare. Some long-term care insurance policies may reimburse for our services we are happy to help you understand your policy.

We have experience supporting families dealing with memory loss. Our caregivers are trained in patience, redirection, and routine-based care that helps reduce anxiety and keep your loved one safe and comfortable at home.

We understand life changes. We ask for as much notice as possible, but we work with families on scheduling adjustments. Consistency matters to us, and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
